The Missouri Association of Counties lists general county hours as 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Call the particular office first because detention, registration, and court schedules may differ.

The Circuit Clerk works from the Dallas County Courthouse at 108 S. Maple St. and receives mail at the post-office box above. Sheriff and jail requests go to the Poplar Street detention center, not the courthouse.
